During the month of June, I must’ve gone to the gym maybe 4 or 5 times. Moving, rescuing a dog, moving again/being homeless, and then suddenly working 9-15 hours a day and then moving a third time will do that to you.
But the last 11-ish days, I’ve tried out the whole personal trainer/nutrition plan thing to get back my motivation. So far, I lost 1% body fat (I’m down to 7.7%… lowest it’s ever been) but I also lost a couple lbs of muscle mass because apparently I burned more calories than I’ve been consuming. Oops. (p.s. overdoing the cardio can also eat away at muscle tissue if you don’t consume enough calories…I pretty much stopped doing cardio for now)
I’ve always been curious about personal training vs. working out on my own and I have to say, it’s been so worth it. I definitely don’t push myself as hard when I’m by myself and I waste a lot of time when I’m not working out efficiently. The biggest reason I’m going extra hard is because I’m supposed to meet with a casting director (next week?) about that audition I posted about before…
So aside from getting ripped, I also need a tan—I STILL have tan lines from July 2013. Basically I’ll be without a shirt a bit more often this summer. My apologies to the half of my followers who stick around for my art and nature photos, and to the pervier half, idk.
btw, those shorts are also from Parke & Ronen and this time, Ronen himself sold me those shorts today!
